Determining After-Hour Emergencies
The following are considered maintenance emergencies and should be reported immediately.
- Fire – call 911, then the management office
- No heat during the winter months / A/C during the summer months
- Toilet stopped up (if apartment has only one bathroom)/ Any septic backup
- Kitchen sink backed up on both sides
- Any water leak with damage to ceilings and flooring
- Broken/leaking/frozen pipes
- Gas leak
- No electricity in the entire apartment or an electrical short
- No hot water
- Refrigerator not working (do not open doors unless it is necessary)
